PICULab is an educational ventilator simulator. It uses simplified physiology to explore relationships between settings and simulated breaths. It is not a medical device and must not be used for patient care or clinical decisions.

Full access starts automatically on first launch and lasts 24 continuous hours, including time when the app is closed. Afterward, a one-time lifetime purchase is needed to keep access. There is no automatic charge or subscription.

Use Restore Purchases on the access screen and sign in to the Apple Account that made the purchase. An internet connection may be needed to check with Apple. If access is still locked, leave a support message with the app version and what you see. Do not include payment-card details.

Use Start over in the monitor to return to the normal preset. Check any open parameter draft before applying changes. Cancel discards edits that have not been applied.

Zoom into the instrument for more space. In the patient simulator, use the parameter chooser to select a parameter, then adjust it with the dedicated scale and rotary control.

Tell us your device model, iOS version, what you were doing and what happened. A short sequence of steps is especially useful. Leave out real patient data and personal health information.
